New Year Makeover
It's that time of the year again.  Check back soon for photos of this year's survivors from this year's makeover.  A special thanks to Nika Thompson and her crew for volunteering to assist with the hair and make-up, and Taylr'z Joynt for all that clothing style.


HAD Found Helping Families
On December 7th, 2011 HAD Found donated boxes of food, toiletries and cleaning supplies to local families in need.  If you know any families in need, please email us at cdaniels@hadfound.org.


HAD Found Fed the Homeless
On Saturday, November 19th, 2011 HAD Found fed the homeless again.  With warm bowls of chili, HAD Found fed 150 men, women and children.  We would like to thank all the volunteers who came out and supported the organization.  A special thanks to San Joaquin Delta College for your support and effort in providing volunteers. 

  

HAD Found Fed the Homeless

On Saturday, October 29th, 2011 HAD Found fed the homeless.  We would like to thank all the volunteers who came out and supported the organization.  Armed with sandwiches, in the downtown area of Stockton California, HAD Found and it's volunteers fed more than 300 people.  


Now Open

Our Thrift Shop is officially open.  Come visit us at 914 S Central Ave, Compton, CA 90220.  Donations are also accepted at this location.  Our thrift shop will help advance our mission through the creation of jobs and vocational skill training.  We also provide a closet for those in need of clothing for job interviews, court appointments, etc.  


Legal Day

On Saturday, June 11, 2011 The Hopes and Dreams Foundation was honored to be one of the recipient organizations at the Legal Day Legal Symposium presented by RCD Entrepreneurial Training Center.  This event was hosted by EZ Bail Bonds Agency, Off the Chain Bail Bond Agency, Law Offices of Early Hawkins, Law offices of V. Emile Brown and the Law Offices of Attorney Wanda Greene.  


The Satori's Circle Annual Health & Resource Fair

On Saturday, January 22, 2011 at The Boys and Girls Club (West Oakland), The Hopes and Dreams Foundation brought in the new year with a new way of living.  We participated with other agencies such as Planned Parenthood, Kaiser, Laney College, Youth Radio, Alternative Family Services, West Oakland Coop, AMR, West Oakland Health Clinic, Marinello, Eden I & R, Inc.  The event was a success!


Back-to-School Talent and Fashion Show

HAD Found is recognized
On July 15, 2010, the City of Carson recognized The Hopes and Dreams Foundation for it's efforts in assisting women in the local area.

HAD Found joins Taylr'z Joynt for a Girls Workshop
The workshop on November 15, 2009 was a success! View some of the girls here modeling their shirts they designed.  Thank you Taylrz's Joynt, the independent fashion designers, and the photographers for helping to make the event a reality, we laid the red carpet out for our girls. Our girls learned that it's not the clothes that make the girl, but the girl that makes the clothes!  And these girls did an excellent job!

New Year's Makeover Madness
